Essential guidelines for international students joining Bahra University

Pre-Arrival Information

Before Leaving Your Country

  • Book your ticket to Chandigarh Airport / Delhi International Airport after obtaining a valid Student Visa
  • Ensure you have all required vaccinations (COVID-19, Yellow Fever, etc.)
  • Carry money in the form of Travellers Cheques or International Debit/Credit Cards
  • Pack appropriate clothing for seasonal temperatures (20-30°C in summer, -4 to 10°C in winter)

Required Documents

Original and copy of academic certificates and transcripts
Original and copy of valid passport
India Student Visa (except Nepalese and Bhutanese students)
Bahra University Acceptance Letter and Fee Receipts
5 passport-sized photographs

Reporting Date

Academic Session begins in August. Students must report one week before the session starts.

Post-Arrival Information

Airport Pickup

University provides airport pickup from Chandigarh/Delhi International Airport for students who have shared their flight details in advance.

Document Verification

Report to the International Student Division (ISD) with all required documents for verification. Admission confirmation is subject to document verification.

Registration

Complete the registration process by filling out the required forms and submitting necessary documents to your respective program.

FRRO Registration

All international students (except those from Nepal and Bhutan) must register with FRRO/FRO within 14 days of arrival. The university will assist with this process.

Required: Bank Statement from Parent/Guardian for e-FRRO registration

Important Notice

Students joining after the prescribed time period may be denied admission. Ensure you arrive on time and complete all necessary procedures promptly.
