The Bahra Research & Innovation Knowledge Centre (BRIKC) is the central hub for research, innovation, incubation, and international collaboration at Bahra University. Established with the vision of fostering a culture of interdisciplinary research and entrepreneurial thinking, BRIKC serves as a catalyst for academic excellence, societal impact, and industrial relevance. BRIKC integrates key verticals including the Research & Development Cell, Startup & Incubation Cell, Research Engagement & Events, National & International Networking, University Press & Publication House, IQAC & Ranking Cell, and the state-of-the-art Central Instrumental Facility. With a dynamic ecosystem driven by policies on research incentives, IPR, ethics, and startup support, BRIKC empowers faculty, researchers, and students to pursue impactful research aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). BRIKC is positioning Bahra University as a leader in innovation-driven education and sustainable development.
Our Mission
To encourage research activities in various frontier areas of science and technology and others.
Encourage and incentivize faculty for research publications in SCI and Scopus indexed or other equivalent peer-reviewed / reputed and indexed journals.
To augment the research output of the University by research paper publication in referred journals and reputed conferences.
To promote University-Industry Collaboration.
To encourage Core Proficiency and Consultancy work.
To organize various workshops/ seminar/ trainings related to promotion of research.
To create awareness about filing Patents & IPR and to motivate all faculty and students.
To coordinate with different Schools/Departments for preparing and finalizing the six monthly / annual research activity plans.
To Create MoU's with Industries, Institutions and R&D organizations for joint research work and consultancy projects.
To organize brainstorming session through talks with eminent personalities from industry, R&D organizations and institutions of repute.

Dean Research Message
Dear Students, Faculty Members, Researchers, and Stakeholders, Research forms the backbone of any progressive academic institution, and at Bahra University, we consider it a driving force for growth, innovation, and societal impact. The Research and Development Cell of the University has been envisioned as a platform to cultivate creativity, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and encourage a culture of inquiry that transcends traditional boundaries of knowledge. Our primary focus is to strengthen the research ecosystem by motivating faculty and students to pursue high-quality publications in Scopus and SCI-indexed journals, secure patents, and contribute to funded projects of national and international relevance. By providing continuous support, mentorship, and resources, we aim to empower researchers to transform their innovative ideas into tangible outcomes. We are also committed to bridging the gap between academia and industry, ensuring that our research addresses contemporary challenges while contributing to technological advancements and sustainable development. Collaborations with industry partners, research organizations, and international universities further enhance the quality and visibility of our research outputs. At Bahra University, we strongly encourage every faculty member and research scholar to take initiatives in writing proposals for research grants, participating in international conferences, and developing interdisciplinary projects.
