Fee Refund Policy

Bahra University strictly follows the guidelines laid down by AICTE, UGC, and the University for fee refunds in case of withdrawal from the program. The refund of fees will be governed by the following terms and conditions:

Before Academic Session Begins

If a student withdraws before the commencement of the academic session, the entire fee paid by the student will be refunded after deducting a processing fee of ₹1,000/- as per the norms.

After Academic Session Begins

If a student withdraws after the commencement of the academic session, the fee refund will be processed as per the following schedule:

  • Withdrawal within 15 days of session start: 80% of the total fee will be refunded.
  • Withdrawal between 16 to 30 days of session start: 50% of the total fee will be refunded.
  • Withdrawal after 30 days of session start: No refund will be applicable.

Hostel and Transport Fee Refund

Refund of Hostel and Transport Fee will be considered separately. If a student withdraws before the utilization of hostel/transport services, a full refund (after deducting ₹1,000/- processing fee) will be made. After utilization, no refund will be processed for that semester.

Mode of Refund

The refund will be processed through bank transfer to the student’s registered bank account within 15 working days from the date of approval of the refund application.

Procedure for Refund

Students who wish to apply for a refund need to submit a written application along with the original fee receipt to the Accounts Office. The application must clearly mention the reason for withdrawal and the bank details for processing the refund.
