Bahra University, Waknaghat, and Government College Solan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic collaboration, promote research, and enhance skill development initiatives. The agreement brings together the two institutions around a shared commitment to broadening opportunities for students and faculty alike.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Maneesha Kohli, Principal, Government College Solan, and Prof. Sumita Sood, Dean Academic Affairs, Bahra University, in the presence of Prof. R. P. Nainta, Vice Chancellor, Bahra University, and Sh. Vineet Kumar, Registrar, Bahra University.
The collaboration will focus on joint research, faculty and student exchange programmes, internships, seminars, workshops, and conferences aimed at enhancing knowledge sharing, innovation, and skill development. The partnership seeks to give students and faculty greater exposure to research, interdisciplinary learning, and industry-oriented opportunities, and is expected to create new openings for research and capacity building that strengthen the higher education ecosystem in the Solan region.
