BAHRA UNIVERSITY in association with ITHS powered by EMBRYOGENESIS established the “DEPARTMENT OF CLINICAL EMBRYOLOGY & STEM CELL and offers B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Clinical Embryology, and B.Sc. in Stem Cell & Regenerative Medicine to develop strong basis in the theoretical aspects and practical skill in Assisted Reproductive technology, Andrology, clinical embryology, Embryo Culture & Processing, Stem Cell culture, histopathology, reproductive genetics, epigenetics & omics technology, and pre implantation genetic screening, On completion of the course, students would develop skills to perform routine andrology, embryology, micromanipulation (ICSI), genetic diagnosis, cryopreservation of gametes, embryos & ovarian tissue, embryo culture, embryo biopsy, and stem cell culture & processing that are performed in a good fertility and IVF centre and Regenerative therapy centres.
The Undergraduate and Post graduate in Clinical Embryology, are aimed at training Life science, medical, dental graduates in the evolving and emerging growing field of Clinical Embryology to understand the concept of assisted reproductive technologies and its application in medicine and other areas. This program is a taught and Internship course with the syllabus formulated in accordance with the Indian rules and regulation (As Per NEP2020 & ART Bill 2022). It covers relevant topics and a research project in the area of specialization. The aim of this Postgraduate and Postgraduate Diploma programs are to provide a thorough training in Clinical Embryology through formal lectures and / or seminars and practical programs.
